Writing Rhyme

Over the last few weeks we have been writing poems in our class. Today we started thinking about rhyme and making rhymes using children's names.
We talked about the lines having to be of a similar length to make it sound right.

It was fun!

Our teacher Claire
Flies through the air!

We have a teacher called Claire,
She likes to sit on a chair.

I have a friend called Ella
It looks like she has a propeller.
